MailChimp Import For Mac

MailChimp Import is a straightforward OS X application specially designed to help you export contacts from different groups from Apple’s Contacts application directly to your MailChimp subscriber list. MailChimp was founded in 2001 and is an email marketing service provider with more than 4 million users that design and send email marketing campaigns every day.

MailChimp Import is available for free on the Mac App Store from which you can download and install the app with just a few mouse clicks. The lightweight application requires only 1.3 MB from your Mac’s hard disk and can be installed in a couple of minutes.

To properly use MailChimp Import you first have to access your account settings page and generate an API key via the Extras menu. You can use the generated API Key to login from within MailChimp Import via the Log In slide sheet and export the selected contacts to one of your MailChimp list.

Chimport comes with a user-friendly interface from which you have quick and easy access to all your  groups and contacts. You can select one or more contacts from the list and start the exporting process by simply clicking on the Export to MailChimp button located in the bottom right corner of the app’s window. It is worth mentioning that you have to agree with MailChimp’s opt-in policy before exporting your contacts.

The export process is fast and smooth, and can be completed in a just a few seconds depending on the number of contacts you want to export. What is more, you can choose to which list you want to export the selected contacts by accessing the MailChimp List slide sheet from the top left corner of MailChimp Import’s main window.
