A well-designed, minimal looking and no-frills task manager for your Mac that enables you to keep your tasks synchronized across all your devices
Cheddar comes with a simple and clean interface from which you can instantly make to-do lists, manage and organize your tasks. To add a new task you just have to type it in the box, hit return and let Cheddar take care of the synchronization process. You can access, edit and manage your list from other Macs, iOS devices and even from the web.
What is more, Cheddar tasks come with support for span-level parts and Markdown as well as tags and hyperlinks. You can easily add a hashtag just like you would do on Twitter. Hyperlinks are automatically generated when a URL address is typed in. You can also make links using Markdown and hyperlink words and email addresses.
In addition, you can make your words Italic, Bold or both using the supported symbols. Moreover, you can strikethrough text and use a wide variety of emoticons. Detailed information on how you can format tasks and use Emoji is available on Cheddar’s website.
Once you completed a task you just have to check it and archive or remove it from the list. The context menu helps you edit, delete or archive the selected text. By accessing the File menu you can add a new task or list with just a few mouse clicks.
If you need to rename a list, archive all tasks, archive list or all completed tasks you can use the pre-defined keyboard shortcuts or access the List menu. The Preferences window helps you change the global hotkey for adding new tasks to Cheddar.
