The Budget Map - Financial Assistant user interface is represented by a single window where you get to view all your transactions organized by category. The app comes with two default categories (Home and Work), but you get to set up new ones in no time.

To help you differentiate faster between different groups, when defining a new category, Budget Map - Financial Assistant allows you to assign one of the built-in icon designs. Moreover, you can use a different currency for each group, and set a spending limit to ensure you stick to your budget.

To start working with Budget Map - Financial Assistant, all you have to do is select one of the available categories and create a new record that will store all the information related to your transaction: amount, date, and type (income or expense).

For each Budget Map - Financial Assistant record you get to input a text description and assign a picture, even though, during our test on an iMac running on OS X 10.11, the later did not work at all.

Budget Map - Financial Assistant automatically balances each category, and you get to see if you are spending more money than making, per category, via the Reports tab.

What’s more, Budget Map - Financial Assistant can also keep track of your loans: specify the amount, the date of issue, the expiration date, the first payment date, and the interest rate, and the app will calculate how much money you have to pay each month.

The utility will help you analyze your loan information, and see when the next payment is due. As a result, you get to take your debt into account whenever planning future expenses.
