Numbers is a well-designed and comprehensive Mac OS X application that provides all the required tools and features to create stunning spreadsheets that you can share with your co-workers and friends.
Beautifully designed templates
If you need a starting point for your spreadsheets you can use any of the provided Apple-designed templates and shape your personal finances, checklists, invoice, mortgage calculator, personal savings and more.
The intuitive interface helps you insert charts, tables, text boxes and images, and place them anywhere within your free-form canvas. From the simple and clean toolbar you have instant access to shapes, media, tables, charts and sharing options.
What is more, Numbers is capable to provide instant suggestions as soon as you start typing a formula. You can use over 250 different functions that come with the app. The integrated function browser helps you find and use the desired sample formula.
You can even filter through extensive tables, automatically format cells based on text, dates, numbers and durations using the helpful conditional highlighting tool. On top of that, all formula results, error checking and cell format are performed in real time.
Furthermore, Numbers seamlessly integrates with MathType, fact that allows you to easily insert equations. Additionally, you can add your favorite functions to Quick Calculations for faster results.
Support for CSV and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
Numbers also enables you to effortlessly import and edit Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Coma Separated Values and tab-delimited text. You can organize your data in multiple tables on a single sheet and use different cell border styling tools.
Moreover, you can take advantage of all available preset styles and improve the appearance of your text, tables, images and shapes. You can even insert images, music and video via the Media Browser.
iCloud integration and sharing functions
The great thing about Numbers is that you can always enable iCloud and access and edit your spreadsheets from other Macs, your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. You can also use AirDrop to share your work with nearby devices.
The built-in share function allows you to share your spreadsheet via Mail, Messages, Twitter or Facebook. You can even print wireless via AirPrint and export your data to CSV, PDF and Microsoft Excel format.
