renameSelectedFilesSeq

renameSelectedFilesSeq is a free and easy to use Automator workflow which will help you rename a long list of files automatically.

Usage: Unzip it, double click on the .workflow file, select all the files you want to rename, customize the parameters for the renaming process and just click the ‘run’ icon in the top right corner of the Automator window… You should now have a sequence of files.

NOTE: Before using it on your actual files, try it on some dummy files in order for you to get acquainted with how the renameSelectedFilesSeq workflow works.
