iPhoto Actions For Mac

iPhoto Actions will install example Automator actions and their related source files on this computer.

The iPhoto Automator actions use the face recognition technology in iPhoto to perform various tasks. The iPhoto Actions require that complete information be provided for each detected face in iPhoto, including short name, full name, and email address.

The New eMail to Detected People, the Search for Related Files of Detected People, and the Show Maps for Addresses of Detected People Automator Actions will be installed into the Automator folder in the Library folder on your computer.

Their related Xcode project files will be installed in the Examples folder in the Developer folder on your computer.

· The New eMail to Detected People action will create a new Mail message addressed to the detected people in the photos passed from the previous action. There is an option to include the passed images as mail message attachments. · The Search for Related Files of Detected People action will create a Spotlight search in the Finder for each of the detected people in the iPhoto images passed from the previous action. · The Show Maps for Addresses of Detected People action will display a Google map for the address of each of the detected people in the iPhoto images passed from the previous action. Note that a matching Address Book entry must exist for each face, and contain the same email address and a valid location address.

NOTE: Please quit the Automator application before installing these actions.
