Unix Services is a free Snow Leopard service pack that installs the following service workflows in the Library/Services folder:
· Get Manual for Command — Once the user provides a command in the prompt dialog, the corresponding man page for the provided command will be opened in TextEdit. Scope: Terminal
· Apply Command to Selected Items — Enter the command, in the prompt dialog, to apply to the selected FInder items, and the command will be executed with administrator privileges. Scope: Finder Selection
· Insert Current Finder Directory — A POSIX path to the current Finder insertion location will be appended to the selected Terminal window text. Scope: Terminal Selection
· Insert Selected Finder Items — POSIX paths to the selected Finder items will be appended to the selected Terminal window text. Scope: Terminal Selection
· New Terminal Window to Insertion Location — Open a new Terminal window targeting (cd) the current Finder location. Scope: Finder
· Launch Terminal — Launch the Terminal application Scope: All Applications
