Smart-Organise Folders is a free collection of Automator Services (Finder Plug-ins) and Folder Actions that will help you to easily and quickly clean up cluttered, untidy folders. 

Basically, these services help keep you organised, the basic concept being that files should stay organised by their extension in the top level of the selected directories.
