Disable the iTunes’ Device Sync
To make sure that, when you connect your iOS device, iTunes will not automatically start syncing your media library, hence erase the data you have on your device, iPod.iTunes offers you the possibility to disable this function with the press of a button. However, it is very important to do this before connecting the device to your Mac.
Browse the device media library
iPod.iTunes will automatically detect any connected devices and create smart folders for different types of media files: music, music videos, movies, TV Shows, podcasts, books, or voice memos.
Built-in media player
Since the app comes with a built in media player that is able to deal with both audio and video content, you are able to actually preview the files before transferring them. At the same time, in the Log area, you can check if the device library contains items that are missing from the iTunes media library.
Intuitive Transfer Wizard
The iPod.iTunes Transfer Wizard offers you the possibility to transfer to your Mac all the missing media files with a click of a button. In addition, you can filter the transferred files by type.
Last but not least, you can select specific files and decide to transfer them individually to your iTunes Library or to another folder on your drive.
Uncomplicated media transfer tool for iOS devices
iPod.iTunes is a great tool to have around if you want to restore the media content stored on your iOS device to your Mac computer. The best part is that the included syncing tools allow you to move only the files that interest you.
