iAudioConverter For Mac

iAudioConverter is an all-in-one macOS app that can perform multiple functions. It allows you to convert between a variety of audio formats and from a few video to audio files. Moreover, it provides modules to burn music to CDs and trim the length of your tracks.

Working with this utility is a walk in the park:  after adding the files you want to convert, you can manually select them one by one and set a different output format for each. When the setup is complete, iAudioConverter can process all your files at once.

The converter comes with a built-in audio and video player to quickly check the contents of each file. What’s more, it also provides a handy tool to crop or trim video or audio files. You can choose the length by clicking on a button to start / stop at the current playback.

Additional features include the ability to automatically send the converted tracks to your iTunes library and to apply the conversion settings to all files. From an Options window, users can also tweak the audio settings which enable you to change the channel, audio code, sample rate, audio BitRate and the volume.

As specified previously, iAudioConverter is also capable of extracting audio from video files. This feature, however, needs more work, as you can only convert a movie to the MP4, M4V or MOV formats.

The application crashes frequently for unknown reasons when working with multiple files simultaneously. Thus, compatibility issues and bug fixes definitely need to be handled.

However, all in all, the iAudioConverter application does its job, but you cannot quite rely on it every time you need to convert media files.
