A high performance application specially designed for Real Time Analysis of audio signals, which is also capable to display complex signal graphs

editor's review

iAnalyzer is a FFT based application capable to precisely analyze the audio signals captured by your Mac’s built-in microphone or other external devices.

iAnalyzer comes with a well-designed interface from which you can easily view and analyze the generated audio waveform along with the 2D and 3D graphic produced for the recorded sound signal. iAnalyzer is also able to work on 44K sample rate and 20~20k Hz frequency output.

The results of the analysis are displayed as a FFT spectrum, Octave or 1/3 Octave while the colored curve is shaped by the dB value. Additionally, you can access the “Setting” panel in order to set the FFT size at 4K, 8K or 16K, chose the desired result along with the Auto-Peak level.

What is more, iAnalyzer allows you to enable the Oscope Auto-scale or the Peak Absorption function and select the display method. You can choose to view the results in 2D, 3D or both with just a mouse click.

From the Input Device slide menu you can easily select the signal source while the bottom panel helps you record and playback your recording. Thanks to iAnalyzer’s intuitive controls you can rotate the 3D graphic with your mouse or move and change your location on the generated waveform.

iAnalyzer promises to deliver high precision peak frequency computation with an average error under 0.1%. Moreover, iAnalyzer can display up to 3 peaks at the same time and automatically re-computer and update the graph if you decide to change the current position.

As it is, iAnalyzer is a versatile and easy-to-use application that guarantees you faithful results for your audio signal analysis.
