energyXT is a straightforward Mac OS X application specially made for editing and composing music that is also compatible with standard VST, ASIO protocol and REX2 format.

With energyXT’s help, you can easily create and record music with virtual instruments and drum loops, record multi-track audio, edit your recordings and work with the built-in guitar effects.

Moreover, energyXT features over 400 drum loops and 32 multi-sampled instruments that will make your music creation process much easier.

The energyXT app allows you to work with an unlimited number of MIDI, drums and audio tracks and record multi-track direct-to-disc audio with just a couple of mouse clicks. EnergyXT’s elastique feature ensures high quality pitch-shifting and time-stretching within your tracks.

What is more, energyXT helps you import all sort of audio files such as WAV, MID, AIF and MP3, as well as REX and RX2 loops. The built-in effects along with the synthesizer and the sample support are perfect for novice users that need a starting point.

It goes without saying that energyXT offers support for VST instruments and effects in addition to the versatile mixer with group channels and an unlimited number of insert and send effects.

On top of that, energyXT’s user-oriented interface with skinning support also allows you to arrange and dock editor windows into multiple tabs. You also have the option to take advantage of the transported bar with metronome and tempo, browse through all available effects, loops, instruments and samples with ease.

The left side panel enables you to browse your disks, view and organize your projects, check the components, presets, plugins, samples, audio pool, loops and clips lists. Adding new audio elements to your composition is as simple as dragging and dropping the item into the timeline.
