Satin 1.2

A powerful and innovative audio plug-in that recreates the classic analogue tape recorders from the Golden Age and adds several modern functions
Satin is a cross-platform tape simulation and tape delay audio plug-in that provides features such as tape coating selection, playback head calibration and NR-recording and decoding.

The Satin plug-in is designed to emulate all types of tape machine recorders from the Golden Age of audio recording.

Besides recreating the classic tape recorders, Satin also adds a flexible old noise-reduction system for timbral compression effects. Satin also creates realistic 'one-shot' tape flanging as well as 'uber-tape-delays'.

Satin aims to appeal to both users familiar to analogue recording and digital recording specialists.

Satin is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X and Windows. Binaries for the Windows platform are available on the project's homepage.
