UVI Workstation for Mac
UVI Workstation is a music production tool developed to help you manage audio sample, create effects in real time, and maintain a streamlined workflow during live performances. The utility comes with an organized yet stylish user interface, that has been developed with efficiency in mind.
Easy to deploy audio samples manager featuring a clean mixing interface
To make sure everything is installed correctly, UVI Workstation comes with its own installer package: simply follow the on screen instructions. The software archive also provides an installer for the REX library, which is required for working with REX files.
Note that the process will create a UVISoundBanks folder in the Library/Applications Support/ directory: you must place your sound library into this folder if you ant UVI Workstation to access them easily.
To help you get started, UVI Workstation comes with a collection of REX loops and UVI presets that can be easily accessed via the built in file browser. However, note that you can import audio samples and effects stored anywhere on your disk.
Manage multiple audio samples and adjust various parameters in no time
UVI Workstation offers you the possibility to switch between different viewing modes in order to help you deal with more than one sound effect at the same time: you can select the ones you ant active, toggle the streaming, or select the output channel.
Furthermore, UVI Workstation provides access to a wide collection of distortions, filters, equalizers, reverbs, and other audio effects. In addition, the utility is compatible with plug-ins developed for other popular audio hosts, so you should be able to extend its capabilities as you see fit.
