TuneSpan is an user friendly macOS application that proposes simple and intuitive solutions for moving your iTunes music library to other locations, on different hard drives, and even on multiple devices.

The application automatically detects and allows you to browse your currently active iTunes Music library, but also enables you to switch to another library. The next step is to select the items you want to move, and to specify the output location: the app will take care of the rest.

Upon launch, TuneSpan allows you to view and browse the content of your current iTunes library. If you are employing more than one music library, TuneSpan offers you the possibility to switch between them by simply indicating the storage location.

To actually use the app, you must drag and drop the items you want to copy or move around to the Spanning Queue, and select the spanning location. TuneSpan can send the files to other folders on the current drive, to other hard drives, or to other devices.

First off, TuneSpan does not make you span your entire music library: you can select only certain tracks, which makes the process very flexible. You can decide if you want to delete the copied files or not: the data can be moved completely, or only copied.

To make sure all the files are transferred, TuneSpan can reattempt to span the files in case of failure. The app can keep your library clean by deleting the empty folders, and by organizing the spanned media.

TuneSpan will prove to be extremely useful if you want to copy or transfer items included in your iTunes media library to multiple locations without having to handle the entire library.
