SampleDecks is a straightforward Mac OS X application that makes it easy for you to use and play up to 64 different channels from within a user-oriented interface.

SampleDecks comes with an intuitive design and intuitive layout that helps you manage and edit your banks, as well as take control of the player using your mouse, keyboard or MIDI device.
As follows, the top toolbar helps you switch from the Banks tab to the Play or Edit tab with just a couple of mouse clicks, change the layout of the sampler and enable or disable the full screen mode.
The bottom toolbar helps you initiate, pause and stop the recording process and enables you to adjust the sound volume while the context menu offers you the option to load, save, duplicate or delete sample bank.
Assign keyboard shortcuts or use your MIDI device to control the player
What is more, SampleDecks allows you to add shortcuts to your most used or favorite banks in the top toolbar. Thanks to this feature, you can quickly switch between banks even you are in the “Play” mode.
The Edit menu helps you create or modify existing sets, change the size and name of the selected sample bank, assign sounds, names, colors or a picture to any given sound, customize the playback, add fade or loop effects, individually adjust the sound volume and playback speed.
Easily customize the deck layout and appearance
On top of that, SampleDecks offers you the option to change the font type and size along with the foreground and background colors. Moreover, you can assign a keyboard shortcut or trigger the playback using a Midi device.
The Preferences window helps you select the desired sound system or sound cards, adjust the slot corner size and padding, adjust the settings of the built-in recorder and configure SampleDecks to work with your MIDI device.
All in all, SampleDecks is a smooth-running and user-friendly audio sampler that enables you to create large sound sets that you can easily play and mix using your Mac's keyboard and mouse or any given MIDI device.
