Quick Play for Mac
Quick Play is a minimalistic Mac OS X audio player specially made to help you manage your music library and playback MP3, FLAC, OGG, M4A and other popular file formats.
Sleek and user-oriented music player for everyday use
Quick Play comes with a simple, clean and intuitive interface that makes it easy for you to listen to music and remove unwanted files or entire folders to Trash.
The top toolbar offers you access to basic playback controls for play, pause, next and previous, as well as shuffle and repeat functions. On top of that, you can easily adjust the sound volume and skim through a song by moving the progress bar.
Easily browse through folders and play songs
The left side panel helps you view the content of the root folder and navigate through your sub-folders and files with just a couple of mouse clicks. At the same time, you can view the content of the selected folder in the right side panel and effortlessly play any given track.
The context menu allows you to open the selected song in third-party audio player and, also offers you the option to move it to Trash. Additional functions like move folder to Trash and reload root folder are available under the File menu.
Shuffle or repeat songs, remove files and clean up your collection
By accessing the View menu, you can change the root folder and enter in the full screen mode for a distraction free listening experience. Thanks to the Controls menu you can mute the player, take control over the player and choose between different shuffle and repeat options.
Unfortunately, Quick Play does not feature a metadata viewer and it is not capable to display the artwork of the played song.
Furthermore, Quick Play does not offer you the option to create playlists or load the ones available in iTunes.
