Radioline For Mac

Radioline is an elegant and powerful radio client for the OS X platform that provides access to thousands of radio stations in over 100 countries across all continents. The application offers a smooth user interface, high-quality streams as well as the abilities to search and add stations to favorites.

Radioline features a compact main window, a menu bar panel and a Preferences window. From the main window, you can view a list of various popular stations. The following details about a radio stations are displayed: logo, name and description. To play a station, simply click on it and wait a few seconds.

Moreover, the the status bar menu displays the name of the currently playing radio, its thumbnail and options to display the player and the preferences. What’s more, the player window can be accessed in two sizes - standard or as a mini player, which only displays the control buttons, the volume slider and station name.

In addition to all these features, Radioline integrates a powerful search function. If you want to find a particular station, just type it in the search box and the results will be displayed shortly. As soon as you find the stations you like most, you can click on the star icon to add it to favorites.

You can also search stations by genre or area. Various genres are supported: classical, latin, oldies, religious etc. You can search for stations from all corners of the world and more than 100 countries.

Radioline offers some extra flexibility through its Preferences window. For instance, the optional alerts that provides desktop notifications for what’s playing.

You can also activate the support for media keys (such as F8 and F9), and configure global hotkeys for displaying the current track via Growl or playing the previous / next station.
