Every once in a while, while listening to online radios you would want to record a portion of a podcast or a song that you like. Radio Recorder is a user-friendly and simple to use application designed to help you do just that: to enable you to capture any radio stream with a couple of mouse clicks.

Radio Recorder’s interface is very similar to iTunes’ and this makes it very intuitive to use. The left side panel of the main window is designed to give you quick access to the stations list and the recordings you’ve collected, as well as the custom playlists created to manage your recordings easier.

The Radio Recorder utility comes with over 28.000 web stations, neatly organized in 28 different radio categories. If you need to quickly pinpoint all the stations pertaining to the same music genre, you can use the app’s built-in search engine.

Each and every recording saved by Radio Recorder is automatically tagged with the artist and title, thus making it a lot simpler and easy for you to manage your collection.

Scheduling Radio Recorder to automatically capture a radio using a predefined program is also a straightforward task that can be performed via each radio station’s contextual menu or by using the “Show scheduler” option in the app’s Media menu.

If none of the available, bundled radio streams are covering your areas of interest, you can also add your own custom radio streams. Unfortunately, Radio Recorder does not come with a tool to import radio playlists created using other apps with online stream playing capabilities.

On top of all that, Radio Recorder also comes with a built-in manual in English and French, which will explain all the app’s features in great detail, using annotated screenshots that exemplify each and every feature at a time.
