MiniPlayer For Mac

MiniPlayer is a lightweight and user-friendly Mac application designed from the get-go to make it as easy as possible for you to take control over you favorite music player.

MiniPlayer comes with a well-designed user interface from within which you can play and pause the music, jump to the next or previous song.

With the help of the built-in search form, MiniPlayer allows you to search for any given song, artists or album. Unfortunately, during our testing period MiniPlayer failed to perform the search task and could not display the search results.

Also, MiniPlayer’s interface changed its aspect, a fact that made the application useless and forced us to restart the application. Hopefully, the developer will release an updated that fixes this problem.

On the bright side, MiniPlayer comes with three different themes, Dynamic, Black and White. While the last two themes are plain and simple, the Dynamic theme is designed to change MiniPlayer’s appearance using the colors present in the album artwork of the currently played song.

MiniPlayer also features with a series of built-in plugins that enable the app to control iTunes, Rdio and Spotify. On top of that, MiniPlayer enables you to extend its support for other players via third-party plugins.

By accessing the Music Services menu, you can instantly switch to other players or music services and control them using MiniPlayer. At the same time the Theme menu helps you change the theme of the app.

MiniPlayer offers you the option to share a screenshot with the player along with information about the played song via Mail, Messages, Twitter, Facebook or Flicker.

To conclude, MiniPlayer is a simple, clean and user-friendly Mac media player controller that can help you change the song and search for specific songs within your music library with extreme ease.
