Provides a modern GUI for musicians during live performances and access to a plethora of tools for managing hardware devices and applying high quality sound effects.
To keep you focused, MainStage comes with a full screen interface that will also eliminate the potential of an embarrassing faux pas during live shows. Additionally, the high contrast effects combined with the high resolution capabilities will help you distinguish the controls from a distance.
MainStage provides support for over 80 different instruments, enables you to apply different audio effects and is able to work with Audio Units and MIDI plug-ins. You can easily import the sounds collection from your GarageBand or Logic Pro app: this way you can combine pre-recorded tracks with live audio and instruments.
At the same time, you can mix different tracks, modify the tempo, add transition effects or change the order without having to deal with complex settings. To streamline your workflow, you can connect MIDI devices to the app, assign an onscreen control to a physical control and then make the necessary adjustments without having to deal with the actual device.
MainStage enables you to adjust a wide collection of sound parameters and the multimapping feature allows you to significantly change the audio effect at the press of a button. Of course, you can design your own layout: arrange your knobs, meters, buttons and faders exactly the way you want to.
Last but not leasts, you can use instrument plug-ins and apply different patches to your output audio. The MainStage sound library includes 1500 instrument effects, 30 drum machine samples, 800 instrument samples and around 3600 Apple loops.
All in all, MainStage has the potential to be your best friend while performing: you can easily switch between patches without stoping the audio, control your hardware, use pre-recorded tracks and live audio at the same time and much more.
