Sounds is a practical and intuitive music player that enables you to listen to music and create your own playlists and save, export or import them quickly and effortlessly.

Sounds features a minimalist user interface from which you can play, pause, stop, rewind and fast forward the tracks from various playlists. In addition you can view how much of the current song has been played and adjust the sound volume by dragging the volume slider.

The Playlist panel helps you view, edit and handle your playlists via the context menu. On top of that you can use the predefined keyboard shortcuts to create a new playlists, save the current track list as a playlist or delete the selected playlist.

All imported audio tracks are displayed in the right panel and by right clicking on a song, you can add tracks from and to another playlist, remove the selected song, shuffle the order or sort the tracks in alphabetical order. You can also delete the song from the playlist and from your Mac’s hard disk and import songs and playlist from iTunes library. What is more, you can play, pause or jump to the next or previous track.

You can enable or disable more features via the Preferences slide sheet. From here you can even export or import playlists and enable the support for Apple remote. In addition, you can configure Sounds to confirm deletions, send deleted files to Trash, save track position when closing the app, start playing the last song when reopened and more.

According to the developer you need to have QuickTime installed in order to use the application. You can download and install the latest version of QuickTime from our website before installing Sounds.
