What's new in Electroacoustics Toolbox 3.8:
- Electroacoustics Toolbox directly supports the miniDSP UMIK-1 and Dayton UMM-6 USB measurement microphones. Sensitivity calibration data for these mics can be downloaded automatically, just by entering the mic’s serial number. Making calibrated sound level measurements is as easy as plugging in the UMIK-1 or UMM-6, typing in its serial number, and getting started with the analysis tool of your choice (the serial number only needs to be entered once, after which the app will remember the microphone sensitivity). An internet connection is required to download sensitivity information for the microphone.
- Electroacoustics Toolbox directly supports the Digiducer 333D01 USB digital accelerometer, and can automatically load serial number and sensitivity calibration information directly from the device. Making calibrated acceleration measurements is as easy as plugging in the 333D01 and getting started with the analysis tool of your choice.
- Minor bug fixes and cosmetic improvements.

Quick to install signal analyzer with multi channel supportLike with many other OS X application, the Electroacoustics Toolbox installation procedure is reduced to a simple drag and drop to the Applications folder. Once you launch the utility, all you have to do is start a new project and make use of the built in tools.
The Electroacoustics Toolbox analysis tools enable you to examine the Dual FFT and FT audio signals, the meter bridge, the octave band, and the sound level. In addition, the app includes an oscilloscope, a signal generator, a spectrometer, a XY plotter, a noise dosimeter, and a room analyzer.
Record the audio signals and visualize the representations in real time due to the OpenGL accelerated graphicsThe Electroacoustics Toolbox analysis tools are able to capture the audio signal recorded by various input sources and provides an extensive control over the output devices. Note that each measurement tool plots a graphic representation for the gathered information in real time.
Electroacoustics Toolbox includes support for multiple measurement units, such as Volts, Pascals, Amps, and so on. For your convenience, the data recorded by each project can be easy exported to ASCII or to MAT files: you get to import the data and perform further investigations via third party applications.
Versatile audio signal measurement tool and analyzer that has a modularized designThe audio signals captured by various hardware devices connected to your Mac can be easily measured and evaluated by using the plethora of Electroacoustics Toolbox utilities. Since Electroacoustics Toolbox comes with a modularized design, you will be able to quickly access the data captured by a certain tool, and find exactly what you need.
