DropVox 1.0 Beta 3
Uncomplicated audio recorder featuring basic functionalities
The DropVox user interface is represented by a small window that contains the button for starting, pausing (you must double click to pause the capture), and stopping the recording. The same area includes a timer that allows you to see how much time has elapsed since you started the process.
Moreover, the settings drop down menu placed in the top right corner of the main window allows you to change the output folder, or to toggle various functions: Float Window, Play Indicator Sounds, and Record on Launch.
Seamlessly saves the recordings without any user interaction
When you stop the recording process, DropVox automatically creates a new file, without requiring your attention, by using a naming pattern: the application’s initials, the date, and the current time.
You can choose to output the recordings to a local folder, or you can save the files in your Dropbox folder: this will grant you access to your audio notes regardless of the device you are using. Keep in mind that DropVox only records the notes, and that you need a third party app to playback their content.
Straightforward solution for creating audio notes in no time
DropVox proposes simple tools designed to streamline the audio notes recording process: the app captures the data, and then outputs the audio files to a location of your choice, using a naming pattern that enables you to quickly differentiate between them. The app is using the popular MP3 file format, so you should be able to playback the recordings without any processing on most devices.
