CROSS DJ for Mac
One of the things you absolutely need if you are a DJ is an efficient media management software that enables you to create playlists, mix tunes, add smooth audio effects and transitions or adjust different parameters for each track.
CROSS DJ intends to provide all the tools you need to create and play enthralling mixes by using 4 decks and countless audio effects. What’s more, CROSS DJ is able to sync your library to other DJ apps, such as Pioneer’s rekordbox, Tracktor and more.
The application is able to transfer playlists, smartlists, folders, track data, cues, memory points, loops and much more. In addition, CROSS DJ allows you to work on your mixes and playlists before syncing to the CDJ-2000NXS standard.
CROSS DJ includes all the tools one would expect from a DJ software: you can work with parallel waveforms, scratching, loops, effects, mixers, pitch adjustments, provides a sync meter and offers a customizable beat-grid editor.
Due to the iTunes integration, CROSS DJ allows you to easily access your music collection. The app is also able to work with popular audio file formats such as MP3, M4A, AAC, OOG, WAV, AIFF or FLAC.
Last but not least, CROSS DJ includes more than 60 different MIDI controllers (Pioneer, Denon, Numark, Hercules, Reloop and Vestax among others) and keeps logs for all your playlists.
Notable are the facts that CROSS DJ can be controlled with an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) running CROSS DJ Remote, and that you can add video processing capabilities by installing a plug-in (you must purchase it within the CROSS DJ app, via the Mac App Store).
All in all, CROSS DJ is a great DJ application that enables you to work on tracks or create playlists and then easily sync the results to the CDJ-2000NXS standard.
