Decibel is a powerful audio player designed to provide support for both lossy and lossless audio formats, and aims to offer the best playback quality possible. The app features an intuitive user interface, which makes it easy to use by any audiophile.

The Decibel user interface resemble any other audio player out there: the top toolbar is reserved for the playback control buttons and the search tool, while the bottom area displays the tracks included in the current playlist.

The player allows you to add as many tracks as you want, by manually selecting the files from your disk drive, or by importing them from your iTunes library. To streamline the process, Decibel comes with a small panel where you can easily browse your iTunes playlists, and import all the track or only the currently selected ones.

Within Decibel you can choose to play a wide range of audio file formats, such as FLAC, OGG Vorbis, Musepack, WavPack, AAC, AIFF, WAVE, MP3, Apple Lossless, Speex, and more. However, when you try to add new tracks to Decibel via the Finder, the app automatically highlights only the supported files.

Decibel comes with controllers for the device and digital volume, and also includes a graphic equalizer that can be used to adjust the sonic effect. Note that Decibel also comes with default hotkeys for controlling the tracks, or the volume level.
