AudioSwitcher for Mac
Managing multiple audio output and input devices connected to your Mac can be challenging without the proper tools. AudioSwitcher is a simple Mac app that resides in your status bar and enables you to quickly switch between input and output lines, to adjust a device volume level even when its not enabled, to ignore certain devices, and much more.
Unobtrusive status bar menu solution for adjusting the volume of multiple audio devices with minimal effort
In the AudioSwitcher panel that is automatically added to your status bar you can quickly view all detected input and output lines: the app scans your system and updates the list in real time.
The application allows you to see the device name, its purpose (input or output), its type, and provides a simple slider bar for adjusting the volume in each case. Moreover, via a drop down menu placed in the bottom left corner you can easily adjust the audio sample rate.
Simple solution for managing multiple input and output audio devices
By default, AudioSwitcher includes all the audio devices connected to your Mac: this is extremely useful, but the list might be cluttered unnecessarily. Via the AudioSwitcher Preferences you have the option to setup default input and output devices, but you might also choose to completely ignore certain audio tools.
Furthermore, AudioSwitcher allows you to setup the default volume level for the default audio input and output devices, and offers you the possibility to visualize the volume level expressed in percents in the status bar.
Streamlined and intuitive utility for dealing with an unlimited number of audio input and output devices
AudioSwitcher is a great tool to have around if you need to work with multiple audio devices at the same time. The app is able to adjust the volume level for each connected device without making you change the default input or output tool, can ignore certain devices, and more.
