Audio Sweet for Mac
Audio Sweet is a straightforward Mac OS X application that actually includes 3 separate tools into one package: a delay calculator, a tempo converter and a Note to Hz converter. The app features a standard-looking user interface and minimum resource consumption.
The utility was designed to help novice or professional musicians boost their audio production workflow. Instead of using 3 different apps, you can use only one. From the main window of Audio Sweet, you can access each of the 3 included tools with just a click.
The Delay Calculator utility makes it simple to convert the Beat Per Minute value of tracks into milliseconds for use in manual Delay units. To do so, you will need to specify the Tempo value and the note value (1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 or 1/64). After that, just click the “Calculate” button and the values (in ms) will be displayed.
Furthermore, in the Tempo Converter window, you can calculate the time stretching (in percentages) and transposition (in tones) based on the original tempo and new tempo. In addition, the Frequency converter window lets you specify the notes, octaves and tuning standards and compute the frequency, period and MIDI number.
As expected, Audio Sweet calculates all values in a heartbeat. What’s more, several tips and hints, which help you learn how to input values, are displayed throughout the interface. Apart from this, Audio Sweet provides no other options or preferences.
To sum up, the Audio Sweet app is an easy-to-use and reliable OS X tool for calculating delays, converting tempo as well as frequencies. The app is very simple to operate and does not require any advanced knowledge.
