VirusBarrier Express is a free anti-malware and anti-virus app designed to use the award-winning technology Intego VirusBarrier X6 was built with.

VirusBarrier Express protects Mac users from viruses, Trojans and other malware, Word and Excel macro viruses, and also detects Windows-based malware, so that Mac users are not infected and pass on malware to their Windows-using friends and colleagues.

VirusBarrier Express allows its users to manually scan every file, folder or volume on the Mac, and it also let them schedule scans when needed.

Users can also repair the infected files for which they have permissions using Intego's VirusBarrier Express.

VirusBarrier X6 also comes with a real-time scanner which automatically scans newly added files, when opened, written or recorded, as well as over 100 additional features to help you keep your Mac safe from malicious software, network threats, phishing, spyware and much more.
