Whether you’re an Apple fanboy / -girl or not, there’s no denying the appeal of the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, simply called “Steve Jobs”: it’s got an interesting and intriguing story to tell, a brilliant A-list cast, an excellent director, and is based on a script by the unmistakable Aaron Sorkin.

The latest trailer for the pic, released some hours ago, hints that the biopic is a must-see for movie buffs and Apple fans alike. It also promises a breathtaking performance from Fassbender, so no wonder there’s already some Oscar buzz online.

You can see it in full and in HD below.

If you were one of the many people who thought that Fassbender, his impressive talent notwithstanding, was not a good fit to play the larger than life figure of the Apple founder, this new trailer will convince you otherwise. Shown in different stages of Jobs’ life, from early youth to his final appearances in public, Fassbender completely loses himself in the role.

Sure, he still doesn’t look much like Jobs, but he manages to convey the same kind of intensity and charm that characterized him.

Directed by Danny Boyle, “Steve Jobs” also stars Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels, and is scheduled for an October release.
