As it continues to expand the knowledge base section dedicated to the basic functions of its iPhone, Apple this week released two new tutorials on Siri and remote-wiping.

Customers just now getting acquainted with the iPhone may not be aware of the full extent to which Siri can return relevant answers. As such, Apple has decided to clue everyone in on what Siri can do.

“When you press and hold the Home button, Siri beeps and asks, ‘What can I help you with?’” Apple says.

Simply tap the question mark sign at the bottom and iOS will display a long list of things that Siri can help you with, complete with phrasing instructions.

“You can talk to Siri like you’re talking to a person, and when you ask Siri something, audio waves move across your screen to let you know Siri is processing your request,” Apple explains.

The second tutorial highlighted by Apple describes the Find My iPhone feature which enables a user with a lost device to remotely-wipe that device to protect their data.

“Tap Erase iPhone. If your iPhone is online, remote erase begins within seconds. If your iPhone is offline, the erase will begin next time it’s online,” the Cupertino company reveals.
