Moving apps to a Launchpad folder is an absolute adventure

As I've said in my OS X El Capitan review, the new release does come with its own share of small bugs and annoyances, and to my surprise, in less than a day the El Capitan bug reports have already started pouring in.

According to a thread started by Reddit user xadz, the OS X El Capitan will not only provide you Mac with an always needed boost in performance, but it also comes with enough extra energy to make you chase icons and folders around the desktop indefinitely.

After installing El Capitan from scratch on his Mac Mini, xadz discovered that he (or she) is no longer capable of moving applications within Launchpad folders.

xadz also reported that this bug also occurs on devices running iOS 9, but I haven't been able to reproduce it on my iPhone so I'll leave it to you to check it out.

The outcome of the whole experience was recorded as a GIF, and I've also been able to reproduce it on my Mac Pro running OS X 10.11.

When I first saw xadz's recording, I thought that this is absolutely hilarious, but once I tried to do it on my own and failed miserably, I understood the level of frustration someone feels when something like this happens.

Either way, I managed to keep my wits, didn't smash my mouse in anger, and recorded my Launchpad folder racing adventure for others to enjoy.

Has anything similar happened to you too after updating to El Capitan? Have you discovered any other glitches after installing El Capitan on your Mac? If the answer is yes, please leave a comment below and share your adventures with the rest of us.
