Apple today was kind enough to answer some burning questions for the Apple blogosphere, including the number of new iPhones sold this past weekend and the iOS 7 adoption rate.

But that’s not all Apple dished out in its September 23 press release. In addition to releasing these important pieces of data (on which Wall Street analysts will undoubtedly rank AAPL a tad higher), the Cupertino behemoth also squeezed in some numbers pertaining to the newly launched iTunes Radio.

Although it arrives late to the music streaming party, “Over 11 million unique listeners have already tuned in to iTunes Radio since launch with the most listened to song being ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ by Drake,” Apple reveals.

iTunes Radio is free for virtually everyone who holds an Apple ID. All you need is either a Mac or PC with iTunes installed, or an iDevice running the new iOS 7.

The ad-supported service can offer an even better experience when the customer applies for an iTunes Match subscription, which essentially removes all ads.
