Hilarious find buried deep inside the End-User License Agreement of Apple's software

If you somehow manage to develop a nuclear bomb that uses iTunes as a key ingredient, Apple is sad to inform you that you need to look elsewhere for support, as the EULA prohibits you from using the application to create weapons of mass destruction.

Deep inside the End User License Agreement (EULA) of iTunes you will find that, among other things you are prohibited from doing with the software, is creating an atomic bomb.

No joke. Here’s the actual wording from said document:

“You also agree that you will not use these products for any purposes prohibited by United States law, including, without limitation, the development, design, manufacture, or production of nuclear, missile, or chemical or biological weapons.”

This discovery will undoubtedly thwart some plans of world domination. Then again, just as there are several materials out there that can be used in weapon manufacturing, so are media players.

Betcha VideoLAN does’t say anything about not using their VLC Player for waging war on mankind.
