Apple this week reminded developers not to schedule any application updates between Friday, December 21, 2012 and Friday, December 28th, 2012. The Cupertino giant will not process any submissions during this time-frame.

The company issued a note to developers stating, “We strongly recommend that you do not schedule any pricing changes in iTunes Connect that would take effect between Friday, December 21, 2012 and Friday, December 28, 2012.”

Apple said that any pricing changes scheduled to go live during this period “will not be reflected on the App Store and your app or In-App Purchase will become unavailable for purchase until after the shutdown.”

The computer company further recommended that developers refrain from scheduling any new applications to launch during the outage.

As with the pricing and update schedules, new releases programmed to go live during the shutdown will not appear in the App Store until after December 28.
