The WSJ-owned All Things D has it on file from a person familiar with negotiations between Apple and Sony that “Sony Music has signed on to Apple’s forthcoming iRadio service.”

In other words, Apple has signed all the major labels it needs to get iRadio off the floor at WWDC 2013 and distribute music-on-demand with iAds. Apple also reportedly signed with Warner Music and Universal.

iRadio is said to be a music streaming service that closely resembles Pandora. The Cupertino giant is late to the game, but still hopes to deliver a comprehensive and competitive product to its user base, and perhaps to new audiences as well.

The announcement will reportedly arrive at WWDC 2013, Apple’s annual developer event which this year kicks off on June 10 (this coming Monday) at San Francisco’s Moscone West.

In addition to iRadio, Apple will unveil iOS 7 and a new version of its Mac operating system.
