14 DAY TRIAL // We’ve reached a point where “iPhone Concept Video” simply doesn’t make for an attractive headline anymore. They’re a dime a dozen these days, and they all look the same.
And when they don’t resemble one another, they’re just plain ridiculous. Take for instance the latest iPhone 6 mockups by Enrico Penello and Ran Avni. No offense to the creatives (I’m sure they put a lot of work into those designs), but these 3D models look worse than low-end plastic Droids.
If you’re going to do a mockup, why not go the extra mile and draw something that looks better than the existing product line? After all, that’s what everyone’s expecting from the iPhone 6.
Bottom line, you can’t find a decent iPhone concept these days that leaves you wishing to God Apple created something similar. One of the reasons for that is because Apple itself has stopped supplying the inspiration.
