New photos show what the new iPhone might look like

After publishing an intriguing presentation-like video depicting an iPhone 7 concept, designer Yasser Farahi of OvalPicture now shares a bunch of finely tuned pictures giving us a clearer image of how he imagines the handset will look. Complete with specs.

Farahi has done a great job of envisioning the iPhone that Apple would traditionally launch two years from now. He presents his mockups in Apple-style marketing materials, with catchy tag lines: “evolution in every dimension,” or “charge different, ” referring to the inductive charging mechanism that he foresees.

This time around, Yasser also throws in some specifications that he believes are plausible for a 2016 iPhone.

As such: the device will measure 6.1mm in depth and weigh 114 grams; it will have a sapphire display with a 401 pixels-per-inch (ppi) density; it will boast 5GB of RAM (which seems far-fetched to say the least) and will come in 32GB/64GB/128GB storage capacities; it will be based on the A10 chip and will boast things like a Taptic Engine (borrowed from the Apple Watch), a 12MP camera with optical image stabilization, and two speakers for stereo audio (when held in landscape mode).

Yasser sees the phone shipping in all-new colors and with iOS 9 pre-installed, which technically puts it on this year’s roadmap (again, not as likely as some would want to believe). Full gallery below.
