Wal-Mart is about to unleash an offer no Apple fan can refuse this Friday, when the retail giant plans to slash almost three quarters of the original price off the iPhone 5c.

Apple’s most colorful iPhone yet is also going to be the cheapest for any new-generation iPhone this Friday, when Wal-Mart says it will start an early Holiday sale that will see the iPhone 5c shed $72 (€52.28) for a final price of $27 (€19.61). Naturally, buyers will have to agree to a two-year wireless contract.

“As part of a holiday sale starting Friday, Wal-Mart plans to offer the iPhone 5c for $27 with a two-year contract from AT&T or Verizon,” the LA Times reports.

There’s nothing you can do right now except wait for Friday to arrive. It might also help knowing that Apple has improved its iPhone 5s stock substantially, offering next-day shipping on all models, including the much-coveted Gold version.
