Russia hasn’t been giving the iPhone much love as of late. Three of the country’s major carriers have declined Apple’s latest contract proposals, in what will essentially keep the iPhone 5S and/or the iPhone 6 out of their shops.

Vimplecom’s Beeline branch, one of the biggest mobile operators in Russia, has reportedly cut its ties with Apple in Cupertino, California, and will no longer renew its contract to carry iPhones.

The decision comes high on the heels of a similar move on behalf of MTS and Megafon, the country’s two biggest carriers who have also declined Apple’s latest iPhone deals.

Adding insult to injury, Beeline actually signed with Samsung instead.

According to Dmitry Ryabinin, chief analyst for Russia’s Hi-Tech, as cited by PhoneArena, “Apple’s conditions are harsh, especially in the marketing department, and are not always beneficial for its partners.”

 Sad but true.
