The ultra-popular Nimbuzz Messenger for iOS is finally fully supported on four-inch Retina displays, like the ones found on the iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch.

Nimbuzz Messenger not only lets you text people on Android, Blackberry, Symbian, Java, Windows and even Mac, the app also lets you make free video calls, voice calls, send chat messages, as well as share files.

It’s the benchmark of cross-platform communication, and the developers have some good news for those of you wielding a new-generation iPhone or iPod touch player.

Nimbuzz is now fully compatible with the iPhone 5 and the iPod touch fifth-generation model, and it’s also supported under iOS 6, for various service tie-ins.

It’s compatible with any iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad that can handle iOS 4.3 or later, which means everything goes except for the original iPhone and the 3G model.
