Industry sources in Taiwan are reporting that Apple’s iPhone 4S will arrive in the country between December 14-16 via the nation’s three largest mobile telecom carriers.

Specifically, Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) have been mentioned with joint intentions to launch the latest Apple iPhone in the Taiwan market “around December 14-16.”

The exact launch date, according to industry sources in Taiwan, is up to Apple. The carriers are to receive initial shipments of less than 30,000 units, with 50% of the entire batch heading CHT’s way. 25% of the shipment will be split between TWM and FET.

The devices will mostly come in 16GB and 32GB variants as they are expected to sell the most units. Only 5% of the whole shipment will represent high-end 64GB versions of the smartphone. No word on the color specifications (how many white and black models are to be shipped to Taiwan).
