Apple’s YouTube channel is featuring new videos depicting the brand spanking new iPad mini with its diminutive form factor and sleek design.

Described as a “concentration” of the original iPad design, the iPad mini is said to be small enough to fit in one hand, but large enough to offer a full tablet experience. Its design is truly remarkable and, thanks to the anodized aluminum shell, you can get one in black all around.

This and many more details are dished out by Apple’s SVP of Industrial Design, Jonathan Ive, as well as other Apple executives, in the five-minute video dedicated to the iPad mini.

A second video (embedded below) shows off the usefulness of the iPad mini Smart Cover with a classy piano riff on the background.

Starting at $329 / €250, the new iPad mini will ship at the beginning of November in the US, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
