Source says Apple is trying to win over the public and rub investors the right way

Here’s one that goes with half a pound of salt. An “inside source” speaking to gizmorati reportedly told the blog that Apple has a special event planned for June 29. The show will be dubbed “Original Passion, New Ideas,” according to the rumor.

In the offset chance that this does peg out, here’s what the blog has to say.

“An inside source from Apple (also confirmed by a third party) told Gizmorati that its both devices, the iPhone 5S and the iPad 5 will be unveiled during a special event called ‘Original Passion, New Ideas,’ on June 29, 2013.”

The news was also allegedly confirmed by a “third party,” mind you.

The blog states that the reason for this event, and its dubbing, is that “the company is trying to reconquer the public and reassure the investors.”

Sounds a little fabricated to us, but at the same time such a stunt wouldn’t be unheard of at Apple (the Antennagate fiasco).

But how could they have let these details slip so early? Plus the next iPad unveiling is said (by analysts) to occur next month, with another one towards the end of 2013.

Summer is reserved for Apple’s annual WWDC conference, which it usually held at Moscone West in San Francisco.

Gizmorati says “Most probably this special event will take place at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.”

A tad too many inconsistencies here. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
