Apple has had the great pleasure of unveiling the upcoming iOS 9 mobile operating system for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices during its keynote speech at the WWDC 2015 event.

If you've watched the live keynote or followed our live blog for Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2015, you know about some of the biggest changes of iOS 9, which is available for download for developers in a Beta form.

However, in this short blog post, we would like to inform you about the devices that are compatible, at the moment, with the iOS 9 mobile operating system, because some of the old ones are no longer supported or various features are not available.

The good news is that Apple managed to keep the compatibility list of iOS 9 on par with the one of the iOS 8 operating system, so you will be able to install iOS 9 on iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, and iPhone 4s smartphones.

The iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini, and iPod touch 5th-generation devices are also supported by iOS 9. We will keep you informed if the iOS 9 compatibility list changes for future Beta releases.
