A new iOS 7 leak provides a treasure trove of information regarding the future of Apple’s mobile operating system, including one particularly new feature involving panoramic wallpapers.

According to the sources cited by 9to5mac, iOS 7 will mark a complete overhaul of Apple’s mobile operating system, though not necessarily a complete departure from the existing apps, features and services offered throughout the software.

One particularly exciting new addition is panorama-like wallpapers, a function that users on different mobile operating systems have been enjoying for a while now.

The panoramic wallpapers are used to provide users with a sense of where they are in the OS, as the image pans in the background when you swipe through various screens / pages.

Apple already offers panorama photography in iOS 6, but this feature is completely apart from that (i.e. has nothing to do with the Camera app itself).
