A newly emerged bug in Apple’s mobile operating system reportedly logs users out of their accounts, without such intentions from the users themselves.

The Verge has verified and confirmed the existence of the flaw, reporting that “An apparent bug in Apple's iOS 7 software is repeatedly logging users out of several apps like Mailbox and Snapchat.”

Other apps could be affected as well, while Mailbox updated its app to remove background refresh, a new feature in iOS 7 which is now sort of a “suspect” in the investigation.

Quoted in the report, one developer who is prepping an iOS 7 app says, “Honestly I don't know what the problem is, but it looks like it's Apple.”

Apple will most likely roll out an incremental software update to address this issue in the coming days / weeks.
