The platform will look largely the same as on the smaller iPhone and iPod

iPad users will have a bit longer to wait until Apple’s new iOS 7 platform arrives on their devices, as the Cupertino-based company announced at WWDC 2013 last week, yet it seems that they can make an idea of what it will look like, courtesy of a leaked video.

The clip, posted by a Russian YouTube user, shows a beta version of the mobile operating system loaded on the tablet PC, with features and capabilities similar to those announced by Apple for iPhone and iPod touch.

However, although the OS is still in its early stages of development, users will see the same lock screen, home screen, Control Center, multitasking, and other features as they could see on the iPhone, except that they are on a larger screen now, RedmondPie notes.

The platform is said to still pack various bugs, which makes its daily use a bit difficult at the moment, though Apple will certainly make it better before pushing it to the iPad as well in a beta flavor in the coming weeks.
