Never forget which apps you’ve bought, even if they’re not installed

Apple is making it easy for people to re-download any past purchases made in the App Store with a neat addition in iOS 7 – a new tab for Purchased apps.

When you visit the App Store on an iOS 7 device you’ll see a lot of changes, mainly aesthetic ones. But there’s one added feature there that should prove very helpful for everyone in the long run.

I’m talking about the new Purchased section, which itself has two tabs titled “All” and “Not on this iPhone.” That last tab is particularly handy when you remember you once had a cool app you enjoyed using but it’s no longer on your device.

With 900,000 apps available for iOS devices, the new feature is godsend. iOS 7 will be available for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad this fall.
