iPhone and iPad users upgrading to the new iOS 6 are experiencing wireless connectivity issues, and the issue seems widespread, according to a lengthy forum thread over at Apple Support Communities.

Numerous iPhone 4S and iPad owners have begun reporting WiFi and even Bluetooth connectivity issues after upgrading to the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system, iOS 6.

Some who claim to have fixed the problem are advising fellow commenters to change the HTTP Proxy to ‘Auto’ in Network Settings. Others have gone as far as to take their devices to Apple to solve the problem. And others claim to have confirmed the issue with the Cupertino giant, meaning Apple is working on iOS 6.1 as you are reading these lines.
